Our pastor, John Downing, communicates in a way that is compelling and easy to understand. His teaching of the scriptures presents the Word of God in a way that even those who are not regular church-goers can be ministered to. We offer three service times including two traditional services and one which is more contemporary.

Preschool Ministry: Birth - 5 years old
Preschoolers are taught during these early years to know and love God. Age-appropriate activities and teaching give preschoolers the foundation for a relationship with God. Families are nurtured and given tools to provide their youngsters with the instruction that the Bible commends. |

Children's Ministry: Grades 1 - 5
Children enjoy exploring the Bible, kid-style worship and a range of activities designed to reinforce lessons and growth. Our workers are trained, caring, loving and provide a safe, wholesome atmosphere for your child. The curriculum is creative and fast-paced to appeal to today’s children. Parents are given the charge to take the lead in the training of their sons and daughters.

Student Ministry: Grades 6 - 12
Students are encouraged and challenged in a setting which includes worship, teaching, discussion, food and fun. Students grow and learn how to live out Christian principals in the reality of life. Activities range from the weekly gatherings to mission trips and retreats that take them out of comfort zones and into stronger reliance on God.

Collegiate/Young Adult Ministry:
Collegiates and young adults face unique challenges in a world that is constantly vying for their attention. At College Road, they are given the tools to stand firm in their faith through solid teaching and discipleship. These young adults join with others in conferences and locally to strengthen each other and build their faith.

Small Groups/Classes:
All are welcome in our many Sunday school classes and small group Bible studies. This is an opportunity to join with others of like interest to explore the depths of God’s Word and find your place in His plan. These groups provide friendships to minister during the hard times in your life and rejoice with you in the good times.

Senior Adults:
The Senior Adult Ministry provides opportunity for continued growth, purpose and fellowship. Special events and monthly meals attract members of the community as well as the church to come together and share the love of Jesus. These adults find opportunities for study and ministry and are a vital part of the work at College Road.
